Rooftop garden cultivates community
The idea behind the Vancouver YMCA's intercultural garden, featured in the linked article, is to make the downtown peninsula a more welcoming and inclusive place by helping non-Canadian-born residents work together on a community food project through training sessions in multicultural tolerance and appreciation.
